New Scientist Live
Creation of imagery, Image manipulation, Print graphics, Web banner adverts
Following success in the UK, New Scientist launched their series of “New Scientist Live” talks in Australia. The talks explore a range of compelling subjects on events and thought-provoking questions in the science & technology arena. The initial sell out event “Uninhabitable Australia” took place at the Australia Museum with expert speakers from the University of New South Wales and Australia National University. New Scientist needed print and web advertising to promote the event.
Inviting guests to “come and hear what is getting leading scientists hot and bothered about climate change”, the imagery to advertise the event reflected the uncertain times ahead as the climate warms and questions how humans will need to adapt in order to keep inhabiting areas of Australia. Advertising for the event combined magazine adverts, web banner adverts and email marketing.
